Completing the Cycles of 2008 & 'Stepping Into' 2009!!
User Rating: / 0

How's about closing-out 2008 with a little 'Completing the Cycles' Meditation?

1) Imagine two bubbles in front of you... let's say a bit bigger than a beach ball but not bigger than a house. Laughing
Imagine one bubble is labelled "Bubble 2008", & the other "Bubble 2009".

Now start imagining a cascade of all the stuff from last year you'd love to forget...
... from politics to economic crises to panic-attacks to bad hair days...
... from dreams forgotten to plans mislaid to auld acquaintances to 'guilty-pleasure' tv-watching...
& let that whole avalanche just start filling-in that "2008" bubble, & watch (or imagine) it bulge...

Include anything & everything, from old/dead goals or mockups to old dead 'new years eve' promises to just plain un-fun events... in fact anything you'd like to get rid of... From stuff that's annoying to just mildly disturbing... Just bundle it up, or imagine a fork-lift, & just shove it all in there...

And just for a moment, notice if you feel any different as you imagine this... perhaps a little lighter, clearer... Or maybe your thoughts get just a little less hectic, your space just a little bit less 'busy'...

2. And now on to Step Two:
Now take a moment to Remember all your Successes from 2008 (or just your Favorite ones), your Joys, completed Creations... the Fun Times... Excelsior!
(You may even want to write some of them down, to remind you of 'battles won', eg. a 'stash of smiles' for rainy days...)

Thanks to everyone who came-out to the Taiji-ShenGung Seminar Saturday Feb 11th!

A good time was had by all as we explored (& for some, re-explored Laughing) the fundamental spiritual tools of 'Practical Mystic'-style Shen-Gung!
healing
You may have noticed some differences in your space this week -- often people's sensitivity is heightened for several days after they begin to work these levels. This is expected, as are the 'growth periods' that can sometimes come-up.

Remember, the first rule is amusement...

Ever feel overwhelmed with life? That things are just moving 'too fast'? So many ideas, expectations, responsibilities, fears... You've heard that Meditation promises to 'fix' all that... but who has the time?

So maybe you go to a psychic. And they'll give you a different perspective, tell you what energy is in your space, give you a next-step on working on your creations. And that's fantastic-- "Wow, maybe I can get out from under all this drama in my life!"

But maybe that's not enough. Maybe you're not satisfied with someone 'telling' you an answer, or 'fixing' the energy in your space.

What if you could learn to do this yourself...?

Newsflash

You ever have one of those ‘nnnnng’ moments? When you walk-away, feeling like you left ‘some part of you’ behind? Or maybe that you’re ‘carrying something away’ that you’re not really interested in having? Maybe you even had ‘second thoughts’ about walking into the situation. Ugh-- too-late, grab a Tylenol, or maybe something stronger later tonight… right?

Well, hold on a second. What you’re feeling, is the impact of someone else’s energy in your space. Spirits-in-bodies (ie, all of us) thrive on energy… enthusiastic, creative, flowing energy. So a quick way to recognize if there’s something ‘stuck’ in your space, is if your energy isn’t enthusiastic, creative, & flowing. Cool Sounds simple, huh?

Let’s start by grounding . Now, please visualize (or ‘imagine’) a rose in front of you. Notice its color, shape, texture… or if that’s too much trouble then just ‘make it up’. Now comes the fun part: just let that rose vacuum-up any energy in your space that’s not yours. It could be that snide comment from your co-worker, that guilt-trip from your mom, that feeling of ‘worry’ that you’re ‘not-doing-it-right’…

& as that rose swallows-up all that ‘not-you’ energy from your space, notice your body feeling lighter, calmer, & less worried. When you’re ready, toss that rose down your grounding cord, & take a second to enjoy your new space. Good job. It’s that easy.
